Anantapur: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Anantapur drew a huge response on the fifth day on Sunday.Though the objective of the Yatra was to console farmers and weavers, people from various walks of life including the DSC aspirants awaiting recruitment, Gopalamitra agents, and others met the Opposition leader and appealed him to fight for their causes.

YS Jagan assured them all help and support to get their grievances resolved. He pointed out that the chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had gone back on all his election promises and turned a blind eye on the farmers' suicides and the plight of weavers and various sections of the society. He demanded unconditional waiver of farmers' loans and interest-free loans to the farmers and weavers.

On his way to Pasaluru, Jagan once again showed his humanitarian concern for the people when he happened to come across an accident in which around 10 passengers were seriously injured. An autorikshaw they were traveling overturned and the victims were waiting for help. YS Jagan offered to drive them to a nearby hospital in the ambulance in his convoy. The victims received timely treatment because of the help and everyone was out of danger.
