Why This U Turn Over Governor: BJP

Somu Veerraju questions AP CM’s u turn over Governor - Sakshi Post

Rajahmundry: BJP MLC Somu Verraju criticised the double standards of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and questioned his u turn over Governor ESL Narasimhan. "Governor was God to TDP when he brushed aside all the political ethics and got four YSRCP MLAs as ministers into the Chandrababu cabinet. He was hailed as a very good person when he promised to talk to the Centre about Special Category Status (SCS) to AP," he observed.

Speaking to the media here today, Somu Veerraju expressed his surprise that the AP CM had forgotten that Governor was a Constitutional position and the TDP leaders were making uncalled for comments. "Why has Chandrababu taken a u turn on Narasimhan? Was he preparing the ground for a major development? If so what is it?" asked the BJP MLC.

The BJP MLC said if the state CM says people should save him, and then the question being posed by everybody is--who will save the people? BJP's worst critic, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has always been harsh on the party, but has never spoken like this, he observed. He called upon people to analyse the sudden u turn over the Governor by Chandrababu.

On Tuesday, AP CM at a public meeting in Dwarapudi, the AP chief Minister made controversial remarks on the Governor and said that he was conspiring against TDP by forming alliance of other parties. The Governor, who went on a two-day visit to New Delhi on Tuesday night, suddenly changed his mind and came back to Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.
