The incident which occurred on Thursday sparked protests from the girls' families who wanted authorities to take action against the female warden. Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School students said that the warden rounded up and forced them to remove their clothes. The girls alleged that the warden threatened to beat them up if they didn’t pay heed to her.

“Some blood was found in the bathroom. The warden ordered us to remove our clothes. It was very humiliating for all of us. We want action against her,” one of the students said. The warden has been suspended with immediate effect. However, she denied the allegations saying that she acts sternly with students only regarding their studies, hence they don't like her.
