Wait for nominated posts gets longer for TDP men - Sakshi Post

The wait of the TDP second and third level leaders for nominated posts is getting longer and longer. It is already seven months since Chandrababu took over, but nothing has been finalised so far.

The TDP rank and file in Andhra Pradesh hoped to get posts once the inauspicious Ashaadham month passes. But, then came Cyclone Hudhud, which put paid to any attempt to finalise the candidates for the nominated posts. Once the Hudhud issue subsided, the famed foreign tours of Chandrababu began.
As a result, the finalisation took back seat. Many party leaders hoped that nominated posts would be given to them as Sankranthi gifts."The poor people are being given Chandranna Kanuka or gift from Chandrababu. But, we are yet to get rewards for our toil and perseverance," said a party functionary.
Now with the Election Commission announcing the schedule for the Tirupathi bypolls, the nominated post aspirants will have to wait till February 13.
