The Andhra Pradesh Government on Monday decided to hold the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) separately.

A decision to this effect was taken at the cabinet meeting was held on Monday. The Andhra Pradesh cabinet which met at the Secretariat, discussed various issues including implementation of various schemes, regularization of illegal constructions and solar power production.

During the five-hour long meeting, the cabinet mainly discussed on the EAMCET issue. It is known fact that AP government has failed to convince counter part government in Telangana on holding a joint test.

The Cabinet had given nod for new solar system and regularization of illegal construction. The cabinet is expected to meet again to discuss the issue of power hike.
