I Had Plan B If My Acting Career Didn’t Take Off:Vijay Devarakonda

Hyderabad: The Signature Masterclass which has come to be known as a unique storytelling platform where people from different professions speak about their success stories which would be a source of inspiration for people who are seeking their destinies in similar professions. Popular VJ-actor Cyrus Sahukar will host the interactions.

The third edition of the Signature this time features three names from the film industry- Kangana Ranaut who will speak about her struggles as a new comer and Shah Rukh Khan who will share his story, his role models and how he went to become the King Khan. From down South our very own Arjun Reddy-famed Vijay Devarakonda spoke about his passion for films and his journey into Telugu films as a rank newcomer with no Godfather.The session was held in Novotel on January 25.

"Everyone has a dream and to get to make it become a reality is rare. I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to convert my passion for acting into reality through my films. In my life, my parents always encouraged me to do what I wanted to and through my masterclass, I hope I can inspire others who dream to take the leap," he said. Speaking to the media before the session he answered a series of questions posed by the media and that itself was almost like a class in itself. Getting candid with the press before one of the sessions,Vijay said that he doesn't believe in taking a class but since it was called a master class he hoped that his story would inspire others as per the theme of Master Class season 3.0 Passion to Paycheck.

To one of the questions he said that he had a Plan B if his acting career didn't take off and that was writing and that he was also willing to remain a bachelor since handling family children and responsibilities were difficult if he had to have a movie careers.

Last year Bahubali's Bhalla Deva, Rana Daggubati was invited for the Master class session. Vijay is currently filming for Dear Comrade a sports drama once again alongside Rashmika Mandanna and another untitled Kranthi Madhav's romantic drama opposite Rashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite.
