HYDERABAD: The Forensic Science Laboratory has concluded that the charred body recovered from Chatanpally near Shadnagar in Hyderabad was of Disha (name Changed).
The DNA of the sternum bone of Disha has matched with the DNA of her parents.
Parents recognized her body which was burnt beyond recognition on the basis of a gold chain and a scarf.
The forensic experts had collected her sternum bone for DNA examination.
Police official speaking to a leading English daily said, The semen collected from the undergarment and scarf of the victim matched with the DNA of the four accused.
He also said that they have got scientific evidence that the four accused Mohammed Arif, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chennakashavulu sexually assaulted and murdered Disha on November 27 and later they set ablaze the body of the Victim.
The four accused in the rape and murder of Disha were gunned down by the Cyberabad police on December 6.
