WARANGAL: Another TSRTC employee died due to cardiac arrest as the indefinite strike by the employees entered its 30th day on Sunday.

The deceased Ravinder, working as a conductor in the Hanumakonda depot, was reportedly watching CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s press meet on the strike when he suffered a massive heart attack on October 26. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Hyderabad, but he breathed his last while undergoing treatment on Saturday night. According to his family members, he was deeply disturbed by the CM’s attitude towards the TSRTC strike. He is survived by wife Rajitha and two daughters.

The body was taken to his native place at Atmakur in Warangal Rural district for cremation amidst tight security.

The TSRTC employees and JAC leaders held the KCR Government responsible for his death. Police deployed heavy security forces in Atmakur to avoid further protests by the RTC employees.

On the other hand, RTC JAC Convenor Aswathama Reddy said that they are not going to discontinue their strike until their demands were met by the Government.
