Man Caught Smuggling Ganja In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A man who tried to smuggle ganja was detained by the officers of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) and they seized the marijuana and cash from him.

According to the reports, the accused has been identified as Rathod Dasarath (19) who is a resident of Bidar in Karnataka. 4 other persons namely Santhosh Rathod, Parushuram, Devdas and Raju along with Dasarath have been absconding. Police found out that Dasarath had planned to sell the ganja in Hyderabad and Maharashtra with the support of a few policemen. He brought the Ganja from a dealer in Khammam.

Police said that Dasarath had earned Rs 1.50 lakh by selling ganja in Pune and Maharashtra. Investigations are underway.
