Hyderabad: Telangana bandh called by RTC going peacefully across various depots in the state. Telangana Jana Samithi president Prof. Kodandaram has been taken into custody.TDP Leaders L. Ramana & Ravula Chandra Shekar reddy were arrested at Jubilee Bus Station and taken to Lallaguda Police Station.

All political parties, cab drivers, advocates, students unions are actively participating in the bandh. Buses are also confined to the depots in the view of bandh.

As a part of the protest, RTC employees staged dharnas at the depots.

Police of the respective districts made tight security arrangments at various depots and main centres of the towns to avoid any kind of untoward incidents during the bandh.

TSRTC and JAC leaders carried out massive rallies to the Bus Bhavan, near RTC cross roads. Police arrested all party leaders as a preventive measure in the view of Telangana bandh.

Some stray incidents were reported across the state.
