Hyderabad: Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was acting akin to a dictator and held the government responsible for the death of RTC driver Srinivas Reddy who attempted self-immolation yesterday.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday Bhatti expressed his grief over the death of TSRTC driver Srinivas Reddy and said that the Congress party would stand with the RTC employees.
He also declared the party's support to the Khammam Bandh tomorrow as well as State bandh on October 19 which was announced by the TSRTC unions and opposition parties on Saturday.
Hitting out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Bhatti said that KCR is acting like a dictator in the state and also demanded the suspension of Circle Inspector (CI) Ramakanth, who allegedly attacked RTC employees on strike.
He also demanded KCR to apologize and take back the 48,000 RTC employees into duty.
