Hyderabad: A family of three including a toddler was unhurt after the bike they were travelling in hit a police vehicle that was part of excise minister V Srinivas Goud’s convoy.

Reports suggest that the minister was on his way to unveil Papanna's statue at Krishnanagar.

When the convoy took a U-turn to proceed to the venue, the traffic was stopped for sometime. Meanwhile, one man with his wife and child on his bike breached the traffic cordon and entered the road. His bike hit ACP Shadnagar’s vehicle from the rear.

On the impact, his wife and child fell off the bike and as both vehicles were in less speed, no injuries were there.

The biker immediately fled the spot along with his family.

However, no case has been registered.
