Fire broke out at the premises of Reliance showroom on Friday - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a showroom in Hyderabad in the early hours of Friday. The mishap occurred at a Reliance Digital showroom on Road No 12, Banjara Hills around 7.15 am. However, as the fire did not spread, the electronic items in the showroom suffered no damage. The fire erupted on the ground floor after a short-circuit in a switchboard caused a spark, which spread to the first floor.

The fire tenders, who were alerted, reached the scene and doused the fire. According to the fire personnel, it took them more than 30 minutes to figure out the origin of the fire as there was heavy smoke clouding the entire area.

Since the incident took place in the early hours, very few people were inside the building and no one sustained injuries or casualties were reported. Furniture and some documents were destroyed in the building with the property loss estimated to be at Rs 3 lakh.
