Hyderabad: Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has decided to go low-key for the party's 18th formation day celebrations on April 27.

TRS Working president KT Rama Rao announced this decision on Thursday. Stating that the election code was still intact in Telangana, KTR said that they have decided to keep the celebrations a simple affair.

As a part of the celebrations, the TRS leaders and party cadre will be hosting the party flag in their native places to mark the Formation Day. According to the party's directions, the prominent leaders including functionaries, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs have been asked to participate in the Flag hoisting program, which will be held from village to district level.

In a traditional approach, TRS organizes formation day with plenary and public meetings every year. This time, the TRS leadership will be taking a much simpler route.
