TRS MP Vinod Kumar - Sakshi Post

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has demanded Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to approve all the road projects for Telangana. The TRS reacted strongly against the Minister particularly after he laid the foundation stone for few roads projects in Andhra Pradesh.

Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar on Tuesday stated that despite requests by the Telangana government for several road projects, the Centre has not given approval. He also added that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had even met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari on several occasions in this regard yet the Centre didn't approve the projects for Telangana.

Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, Vinod Kumar referred to the regional ring road project planned for the city at a distance of 50 km, which is yet to be approved.
