Hyderabad: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao said that the city was ready to provide its residents with more freshness. With an addition of 100 lung spaces to the city it would protect and make the living easier for its citizens, he observed.
The minister said that among the 100 lung spaces project ten of them were already completed. One among the 10 was the new facilities at Botanical Garden that was completed at the cost of Rs 5 crore. The park has been equipped with an Interpretation Centre, which has seating arrangement for up to 150 people.
Compared to other cities, Hyderabad is protecting its nature well, besides creating new lung spaces, KTR said. Pointing out that many environmental activities were brought to the city was for the sake of future generations. He called upon the people to take up eco-friendly activities to decrease pollution.
