Uttam Hits Back At KTR For His Comments On Congress

Hitting back at the Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao's comment that Congress has betrayed people of Telangana, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy took to Twitter expressed his distress over the minister's words. "Uttam Garu, I stand by my words that Congress party’s history is filled with betrayals, treachery & deception with respect to Telangana agitation starting from 1952, all the way to 2014. It was the inevitability conferred upon by people’s movement which resulted in Telangana," KTR tweeted on Sunday.

Confronting KTR on this, Uttam shared an audio clip of chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao speaking high about Congress former president Sonia Gandhi. In the clip, KCR praised Sonia for granting statehood to Telangana which fulfilled the dreams of people of Telangana. Uttam also lambasted KTR saying that the minister is now disagreeing with his father's statement. He pointed out that KCR had once heaped praises on Sonia.

"Pls watch KCR talking abt our leader Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji - “No one can disagree that Telangana was Sonia Gandhi Garu’s initiative. TS was created due to her benevolence. Whoever disagrees with this fact is a foolish person ‘మూర్ఖుడు‘.” R u disagreeing with your father?," the tweet reads. Here’s their twitter exchange:
