New Delhi: Congress leader Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said his decision to switch allegiance to BJP was only to dislodge the K Chandrashekar Rao led TRS government in Telangana.
Responding to the leaked phone conversation of him with his supporter in which he claimed that he would become the chief minister if BJP comes to power in the State, he said it was only to boost the morale of his supporters. He said that the development of Telangana was only possible with BJP, and he would join the party soon.
The Munugodu MLA stated that he was invited by Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy to join BJP and had held talks with BJP general secretary Ram Madhav recently. He further added that the Congress was a sinking ship in Telangana and it was in shambles only due to the failed leadership of PCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
