Hyderabad: Lending more credence to the reports that Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy is looking for an opportune to jump on the BJP bandwagon, phone conversation between him and his supporter was leaked and found its way into public domain.

"If BJP comes to power in Telangana, I will be the chief minister. Congress doesn't have chances to survive in the State. Congress president Rahul Gandhi himself resigned. If all of us go to BJP... I will be the CM," this is what the Munugodu MLA told his supporter when the latter expressed his sadness over the former planning to ditch Congress. Reddy did not relent even as his supporter said they had worked very hard to secure a win for him in Munugodu.

It is already known that Reddy's recent comments - that BJP is the only alternative to TRS in Telangana - have created ripples in the Congress camp. Political observers feel that it is only matter of time when he makes the switch to BJP.
