Kamepalli: Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday demanded that all the Congress MLAs, who quit the party and joined the TRS, should resign from their posts and then take up touring in villages.
He met the Congress activists Aaloth Siva, Prem Kumar, and others who were injured in the attack by TRS activists in Govindrala village of Karepalli Mandal in Khammam district.
Speaking in this regard, Bhatti Vikramarka said that in democracy, everyone who has exercised their right to vote has a right to question.
He mentioned that a few women activists from Govindrala village questioned Banothu Haripriya Naik, who represents Yellandu assembly constituency in Khammam district regarding her recent defection from Congress to TRS.
However, the women activists were brutally attacked by the ruling party activists. The Congress leader lashed out at the TRS activists for attacking women.
