Hyderabad: Official spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee Dasoju Sravan found fault with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comments over Telangana CM KCR's Federal Front.

Earlier in the week, PM Modi said he was not aware of the Federal Front. Terming PM Modi's comment as 2019's biggest joke, Sravan said the BJP was washed out in Telangana elections. He addressed the media at Gandhi Bhavan here along with senior leader Jeevan Reddy and TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday.

Sravan said the BJP managed to win just one seat in the Assembly polls. Thanks to BJP's mutual understanding with MIM, the party managed to win in Goshamahal, he added saying rather than celebrating Praja Kutami loss, the BJP should remember that it lost deposits in 105 seats.

"In 2014, we had won 22 seats. Now we are just three short of our 2014 tally. PM Modi and KCR had a mutual understanding only to counter Congress party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. The PM is trying to escape from giving an answer on the Rafale deal," he added.
