TPCC working president Revanth Reddy's disappearance has caused anxiety and anger among his supporters and family members. Revanth Reddy's wife Geetha demanded to know his whereabouts and faulted the police on the way they behaved with her.

She complained that the police did not reveal the whereabouts of her husband neither did they did her the reason for his arrest.

The Congress leader's wife alleged that police dragged him forcibly into a vehicle as if he were an extremist.

She requested Revanth's supporters and party workers to remain composed while terming Revanth reddy's arrest as an assault on the people of Kodangal. Incidentally, Revanth Reddy is contesting from Kodangal constituency from where he takes on the TRS candidate Patnam Narender Reddy. Revanth Reddy's arrest followed calls by the TPCC leader to protest against KCR's election rally in Kosgi of Vikarabad.

The police also took into custody Revanth's brother Kondal Reddy and party supporters. It is learnt that all of them have been shifted to Jadcherla Police training centre. Meanwhile, it is reported that tension gripped Kodangal following news of Revanth Reddy's arrest.
