Adilabad: The upcoming elections in Telangana will see a tough fight between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party (TRS) and the Congress led Grand Alliance.
The latest news making the rounds is that the TRS is trying to use the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) party to attract Muslim votes towards TRS candidates, in places where they feel that there could be a Congress stronghold.
Though in principle the MIM and its leaders may not campaign directly for TRS they are sending enough messages indicating their support for the TRS in their party meetings organised in some constituencies.
In the Nirmal constituency there is in impediment of a tough fight between Allola Indrakaran Reddy of the TRS and Congress candidate Aleti Maheshwar Reddy. The MIM attended a party meeting in Nirmal on Monday where he made a shocking revelation that the Congress were trying to bribe him not to participate in meetings in Nirmal.
