End Of KCR’s Career In Telangana Elections: Revanth Reddy

TPCC working president Revanth Reddy - Sakshi Post

Sangareddy: Reacting to the comments made by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Revanth Reddy said caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was a toddler when former minister Geetha Reddy's mother Eshwari Bai fought hard for the separation of Telangana State (in the first stage of agitation).

Addressing a gathering at Zaheerabad in the district after attending a bike rally in support of Geetha Reddy's candidature, Revanth Reddy said Zaheerabad was a fortress of the Congress since ages. Stating that the Congress MLA candidate, who has long served as a minister during Congress rule, would hold an important position if the party is voted to power, he urged the party workers to ensure her victory yet again in the constituency.

After promising to make a Dalit the first Chief Minister of the State, KCR did not keep his word, the Congress leader said. Calling on the people to learn from the sacrifice of the then AICC President Sonia Gandhi, he alleged that PM Modi at the Centre and CM KCR in the State are running corrupt governments.

KCR, who is boasting of getting the approval for the zonal system from the Centre, could not provide reservations to the Muslims, he criticized. Watch this space for more updates on Telangana Assembly elections 2018.
