Khammam: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party cadres have already begun the process of mobilizing party workers from the district here, a day ahead of the high-profile public meeting 'Pragati Nivedana Sabha.' Under the leadership of TRS MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, party workers began travelling to Hyderabad in 1,890 tractors from here. Minister Thummala Nageshwara Rao flagged off the 30-kilometer long tractor rally.

Although a massive traffic jam occurred as a result of the tractor rally, local police intervened to minimize the inconvenience caused to the public. Speaking on the occasion, minister Nageshwara Rao said that it was heartened to see lakhs of people were attending the meeting after four years of farmer-friendly governance under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR).

TRS MP Srinivas Reddy observed that the gesture by the party cadre was an appreciation of CM KCR for his comprehensive development in the State. ZP Chairman Gadipalli Kavitha, MLC Balasani Lakshmi Narayana and party general secretary Thakkellapally Ravinder Rao were present in the tractor rally kickoff program.
