New Delhi: TPCC chairman Uttam Kumar Reddy has been in New Delhi for the last three days and this has turned out to be a worrying factor for the party leaders. It is learnt that the TPCC chief was meeting all the leaders at the centre and explaining about the party's performance in the state as well as about the state leaders. This has raised curiosity levels at the Gandhi Bhavan and senior leaders are trying hard to figure out what was happening in Delhi.
According to sources, AICC President Rahul Gandhi met Uttam on Friday night and is believed to have held a discussion for about half an hour. Rahul is said to have instructed the TPCC chief to concentrate on establishing booth committees as well as fasten the process of registrations through Shakti App.
Today, Uttam will meet state incharge Ashok Gehlot to discuss about party reorganisation in the state and also formation of different committees. It is learnt that the Congress party high command was planning to appoint three incharge secretaries and one incharge joint secretary for Telangana. The high command wants to complete all the party related appointments by the month end. These appointments will balance representations from all sections and accommodate senior leaders.
