Samsung Electronics, the South Korean electronics giant, unveiled the world’s first consumer modular MicroLED 146-inch TV, "The Wall", at its annual First Look Consumer Electronics Show event. In the presence of more than 300 global media and influencers, the electronics giant also demonstrated its latest innovations in display technology, which involved a centralized connected smart hub.
The Wall delivers high definition visual expreience, without restrictions to size, resolution or form. Featuring a module-based, bezel-less design, The Wall improves customization to sizes and shapes to suit the needs of the users.
Samsung is dedicated to providing consumers with a wide range of cutting-edge screen experiences, Jonghee Han, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics said. As the world’s first consumer modular MicroLED television, The Wall represents another breakthrough with its ability to transform into any size, and deliver incredible brightness, color gamut, color volume and black levels, he added.
This is a vital breakthrough along our road map to the future of screen technology, and the remarkable viewing experience Samsung offers to consumers, he observed.
