TDP Scared Of YS Jagan’s Padayatra: YSRCP

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Yuva Bheri in Anantapur  - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said that YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s proposed padayatra had made the TDP jittery. The leader of Opposition Leader announced his mass contact programme, scheduled to begin from November 2 and will cover the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, the party spokesperson added, "The TDP leaders are voicing concern as to how Jagan could undertake padayatra? Don't they know that any leader can undertake a mass contact programme? They are worried about Chandrababu’s corrupt deals, failed poll promises and indifference towards Special Category Status to AP would be exposed during Jagan’s walkathon.”

After the successful Yuva Bheri at Anantapur, the ruling party had gone into a defensive mode and attempting to defame Jagan by resorting to personal attacks, the spokesperson said

“It is now apparent that Chandrababu Naidu had compromised on the special category status which would help millions of unemployed youth in the state. We will fight till we achieve the goal no matter what the TDP thinks of it. Joblessness is pushing youngsters to take extreme measures, including suicide and the State is squarely to be blamed for the deaths as SCS could have created employment,” he added.

This padayatra will create an unprecedented impact as it taps into the powerful anti-incumbency sentiment prevalent across Andhra Pradesh.
