Raghuveera apes YS Jagan on loan waiver - Sakshi Post

With YS Jagan setting the political agenda on Chandrababu Naidu Government's failure on crop loan waiver, other parties in AP are now following suit.

A case in point is Congress, which too has announced that it would launch a slew of agitational programmes across the state on the issue.

The YSRCP has organised a three-day Narakasura Vadha - slaying of demon Narakasura - across Andhra Pradesh to protest against AP Chief Minister Chandrababu's flip-flop on crop loan waiver.

Standing by the farmers and fight against Chandrababu's betrayal, leader of the opposition, YS Jagan asked the people to burn effigies of Chandrababu and responding overwhelmingly to his call, over 80 per cent of the villages across the 13 districts of the state have staged dharnas and symbolically burnt Chandrababu in effigy in every village of the state for going back on his poll promises.

Criticising Chandrababu for his dilatory tactics, Andhra Pradesh PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy called for dharnas across the state. He announced that dharnas and other agitational programmes would be organised at all the district collectorate offices on August 4.

He demanded the TDP chief to implement the loan waiver scheme immediately to bail out the farmers who are in the lurch.
