Rain Halts YS Jagan Padayatra In Visakhapatnam

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's popular mass contact initiative Praja Sankalpa Yatra was halted in Bimili constituency of Visakhapatnam district because of heavy rains in the region.

The people's leader was to resume his padayatra on day 267 from Pappalavani as per schedule. However, rough weather conditions this morning played havoc forcing YS Jagan to halt his padayatra.

The Praja Sankalpa Yatra is progressing successfully in Visakhapatnam and has been receiving unprecedented response from the people. The masses are awaiting the arrival of the YSRCP president who is lending a patient ear to their problems while assuring them of better days under Rajanna Rajyam.

The YSRCP kick-started Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan on Tuesday under which they will reach out to every household in constituencies across the districts about Navarathanalu (YSRCP manifesto).

The Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan program will cover constituencies not covered by YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra. As part of the campaign, each constituency Incharge would interact with people of at least two polling booths and discuss on issues at local, State and national level. The party cadre is determined to cover at least 50 polling booths per constituency within a month. The party workers would explain to them the benefits Navaratnas would offer to various sections of the society.

The YSRCP Chief had ordered the leaders to complete the formation of booth level committees in those booths where the committees have not been formed already. Special committees at Mandal, District and regional levels would monitor the activities of the booth level committees. By holding frequent reviews, issues pertaining to the specific booths and Mandals would be addressed.
