Amaravati: Jana Sena MLA Rapaka Varaprasad lauded Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for according equitable distribution to various castes and communities in choosing his Council of Ministers. He promised his complete support to the new Chief Minister in implementing poll promises.
The lone Jana Sena MLA from Razole met YS Jagan on the first day of Assembly sessions in the Assembly building. He congratulated YS Jagan on registering a stupendous victory and both exchanged pleasantries.
While Pawan Kalyan lost from both constituencies from which he contested, Varaprasad emerged victorious from Razole in East Godavari district with slim majority of 814 votes.
In an unprecedented manner, Chief Minister YS Jagan picked up five deputy chief ministers from different socioeconomic backgrounds. He selected Mekathoti Sucharitha, a first-time minister and a Dalit woman, to be his Home Minister.
