Jagtial: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana President Dr. K Laxman lambasted the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Congress parties while addressing a public meeting here, as part of the 10th day of "Jana Chaitanya Yatra" on Monday.
Dr. Laxman found fault with the TRS government for failing to recognize tenant farmers by excluding them from the Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Beema schemes. After attaining power in the state, the BJP would protect the interests of the tenant farmers, he promised.
Revival of the Nizam sugar factory within 100 days of attaining power is the primary goal of the BJP, he promised. The fate of Gulf returnees and the ones leading miserable lives in the Gulf would be radically transformed in the BJP rule, he remarked.
The BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Amit Shah, is committed to the development of the state, he affirmed. With the support of the people of the state, we are ready to contest all the seats and are confident of a victory, he observed. BJP MLA NVVS Prabhakar, Nizamabad leader D Aravind etc participated in the meeting.
