BCs Ignored In Chandrababu’s Rule: Janga Krishna Murthy

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party BC Cell Andhra Pradesh president Janga Krishna Murthy said that BCs have been the most ignored lot during the state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's regime. Talking to media here at the party state office today, he expressed surprised at the ministers' Kalva Srinivasulu and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu's Goebbels propaganda that Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy had done injustice to BCs.

He questioned what Chandrababu had done for BCs and said that AP CM displaced the people from their traditional occupation. The AP CM has been instrumental for the sorry state in which we find BCs today. He recalled that it was Dr YSR who had introduced the fee reimbursement for people from backward class communities.

Krishna Murthy sought an answer from minister Yanamala to as to what had happened to the BC declaration. "What has happened BC funds, constitution of sub-plan and the nominated posts that were promised to BCs?" He demanded that the TDP government come out with a white paper on what they had done for the BCs.

The YSRCP leader questioned the appointment Yanamala's relative as TTD Chairman and said it was not BC community emancipation. It was highly unlikely that BCs will continue to support TDP in the next elections, he added.
