Chinese Intrusions: India Firm And Will Not Step Back

NEW DELHI: India will continue to defend its interests resolutely and will not be wilting under any aggressive military posturing by China. India is ready to work for a peaceful resolution of the dispute, that China has violated the unresolved boundary and obstructed Indian patrols.

The conflict between India and China along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh began on May 5 this year have seen hand to hand fighting between Indian and Chinese armed forces in the Pangong Tso lake area of Ladakh.

According to the reports, a few satellite images show China expanding its airbase near Ladakh. India is tracking Chinese troop reinforcements and fortifications by PLA at four to five confrontation sites on LAC. India will soon start border infrastructure activities that have been stopped due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

India is ready to hold talks with  China. Indian Army has moved its battalion under Leh-based 3 Infantry Division. The situation at LAC is serious but not alarming. China has deployed nearly 1,200 to 1,500 soldiers at different sites in eastern Ladakh. According to the reports, " Despite the Chinese obstructed the Indian patrols. The two sides are engaged diplomatically both here and in Beijing to address the issue, but there won't be any compromise when it comes to the defence of our territory." Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and national security advisor Ajit Doval is closely monitoring the situation.
