Yash's KGF Chapter 2 Theatrical Release Delayed: Deets Inside

KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, is one of the most anticipated films of 2021. However, it appears that the film will not be released on July 16 as planned. 

The makers of KGF: Chapter 2 want to release the film all over India, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, movie theatres are unlikely to be completely full next month. Thus JGF Chapter 2 is likely to be released in August or September. Soon, the KGF makers will make an announcement officially.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter space and gave an update about the release state of KGF: Chapter 2. The film is in the final leg of the post-production. The film will release once theatres across the country reopen.  "Tremendous curiosity for #KGF2... Will the hugely-awaited film - starring #Yash - arrive on 16 July 2021? Latest: #KGF2 is in the final stages of post-production. Release: Once all-India cinemas reopen. The earlier date - 16 July 2021 - is ruled out."

Malavika Avinash also took to her Twitter and posted that she had begun dubbing for her role in KGF: Chapter 2 and shared a screengrab from the film. Malavika plays the role of Deepa Hegde, the chief editor of a news channel. "Life May not have come back to normal but some semblance of it! KGF Chapter 2 is the most expensive Kannada film with a budget of 100 crores. KGF: Chapter 2 is an upcoming  action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. The second installment of the two-part series, it is a sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj.
