Telangana Begins To Celebrate Formation Day Without Pomp

 - Sakshi Post

HYDERABAD: Telangana is celebrating its sixth Formation Day on Tuesday in what is going to be a low key affair across the state in view of the coronavirus pandemic. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, the architect of a separate Telangana statehood movement and later its formation, paid tributes at the Telangana Martyrs' Memorial in Gun Park and unfurled the national flag at Pragati Bhavan. Keeping pomp and fanfare out of the low key event, designated Ministers and dignitaries will unfurl the flag in the 32 districts.

Telangana came into existence as the 29th state of India on June 2, 2014. Within no time, the state emerged strongly by showing incredible growth in all key sectors like industry, agriculture, irrigation, health and medicare. KCR's government shows strong determination and grit to reach its goals. During the last six years of its own identity, the state under the leadership of KCR embarked and accomplished several projects and schemes for the overall welfare of the people. Many flagship programmes of the TRS government have made Telangana reach greater heights.

Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya have also caught the imagination of political leaders and experts not just in the country but outside as well. The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, the biggest feather in Telangana's fabled cap, is going to change the fate of Telangana.
