Nirmal: Newly Married Woman Dies In Road Accident 3 Days After Wedding, Along With Father

In a very shocking incident, a new bride, and her father were killed while her husband and their driver have sustained severe injuries as the car they have been travelling plunged into a gorge. The incident took place while they have been returning from her reception at Pandavapur village in Kaddam mandal in the early hours of Saturday. Just after three days of the wedding, the tragic incident took place. 

Going into the details, the deceased was identified as Konda Mounika (25) and her father Rajaiah (50), a farmer, native of Patha Maddipadaga village in Kaddam mandal. The injured were Janardhan, the husband of Mounika, Ranadeer, the driver of the car.

Kaddam Sub-Inspector K Raju said that Mounika suffered fatal injuries and she died on the spot at around 1.15 am. Rajaiah who suffered serious injuries died while he was taken to the hospital. Police said that driver might have dozed off at the wheel and as a result, the accident might have taken place.

The dead bodies have been shifted to the government hospital at Khanapur for postmortem. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Nirmal and their condition is said to be critical. Mounika was married to Janardhan, a native of Maharashtra on August 25th.
