KCR Links Dalita Bandhu To Huzurabad Bypolls

 - Sakshi Post

The Telangana Dalita Bandhu, a flagship programme of the TRS government is going to be launched by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from the Huzurabad Assembly constituency where by-polls are going to take place soon.

The scheme, which was to be called Dalit Empowerment Scheme, has now been rechristened as the Dalita Bandhu scheme. A total of Rs. 2,000 crore for the implementation of the Dalita Bandhu scheme in the Huzurabad constituency alone has been sanctioned by CM KCR. Just like the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the beneficiaries of Dalita Bandhu will get their financial aid deposited directly into their bank accounts.

The main aim of the Dalita Bandhu scheme is to uplift the families of Dalits. A total of 20,929 families under the Huzurabad assembly segment have been selected as beneficiaries of this scheme. Political analysts are saying that KCR has come up with this scheme to woo the voters in the constituency ahead of the polls.

A note from the Chief Minister's office said that KCR chose the united Karimnagar district to launch the Simha Garjana Sabha, Rythu Bandhu, and Rythu Bima schemes and is now continuing the tradition. KCR was advised to launch the Telangana Dalita Bandhu scheme from Huzurabad.

According to the reports, Huzurabad bypolls are going to take place soon. Etela Rajender who represents the Huzurabad constituency resigned from the TRS and joined BJP. So, a bypoll is necessitated to the Huzurabad constituency. Congress leaders are also working hard to win in the upcoming byelection.
