This Mumbai Player Holds Dubious Record of Most Ducks in IPL History

 - Sakshi Post

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma set an unwanted record when he was removed for a two-ball duck by Mukesh Choudhary during a match against Chennai Super Kings at DY Patil Stadium on Thursday.

Rohit failed to get his team off to a strong start by giving a straightforward catch to Mitchell Santner at mid-on. With this, Rohit Sharma currently has the most ducks in the IPL's history. Rohit has been removed for a duck 14 times in the IPL, surpassing Piyush Chawal's previous record. Chawla had been dismissed 13 times in the IPL for a duck.

The MI skipper hasn't had the best of times with the bat in this season's IPL. In seven matches, he has scores of 41, 10, 3, 26, 28, 6, and 0. Currently, Mumbai Indians are the only team to win the match and their chances for qualifying playoffs are less.
