Coldplay and BTS Share Snippet Of Upcoming Release, My Universe

The collaboration between Coldplay and BTS is just a day away. In less than 24 hours, we will be listening to their song, ‘My Universe’. It has been one of the most anticipated collabs with fans of both the bands getting excited. Ever since the song was announced, it has been nothing but a celebration on Twitter. Recently Coldplay shared a snippet of the upcoming release and also a schedule indicating we are going to get much content.

My Universe is all set to release on Friday, September 24. Ahead of the release, these two groups met in New York. They shared a picture of their meeting on Twitter. BTS gifted Coldplay a modernized Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing). Chris Martin posed happily in the Hanbok. Both the groups shared pictures on their Twitter handle.

“My Universe Crew! (+Modernized hanbok)” wrote BTS.

Earlier Chris Martin went to South Korea to meet BTS and record their track. A couple of days ago, the group even shared a behind the scene of their recording. It was a joyful video where you can spot Coldplay’s lead singer wearing a BTS hoodie while the Bangtan Boys are sporting Coldplay’s clothing.

In this snippet here, you can hear BTS members RM and Jimin singing along with Chris. Earlier snippets included Jungkook and V’s parts of the song. It has been confirmed that all of BTS will be singing. RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, everyone took part in My Universe.

BTS was in New York to give a speech at the United Nations General Assembly’s SDG Moment. South Korean President Moon Jae-in appointed the group’s members as the special presidential envoys for future generations and culture. They even performed their song, Permission to Dance at the UNGA hall.
