University of Hyderabad No.1 in South, India Ranking 5

The University of Hyderabad is ranked first in South India and fifth in India.

Age and accreditation, infrastructure, and other amenities were among the criteria considered in the Week-Hansa research top universities poll 2021.

Hyderabad: According to the Week-Hansa survey 2021, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been rated first in the South and fifth in the country among the top 80 interdisciplinary institutions that comprise State, Central, Private, and Deemed to be Universities.

The Week-Hansa research best universities survey 2021 took into account factors such as age and accreditation, infrastructure and other facilities, faculty, research and academic, student intake and exposure, and placements, according to the report.

The ultimate score for each university was determined by combining the perceptual and factual ratings, according to the report.

"The university has been making steady progress, this has been possible only due to the efforts of the faculty, students, alumni, and administrative staff", stated UoH Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arun Agarwal.
