Navratri 2021: Maa Kushmanda is worshipped on the fourth day of Navrati by the devotees. The word Kushmanda means the one who has created the universe. Kushmanda is believed to reside in the centre of the Sun so as to balance the amount of energy and light liberated to the universe. She is also known as Ashtabhuja Devi. She is represented with eight hands, holding Kamandal, Dhanush, Bada, and Kamal in the right and Amrit Kalash, Jap Mala, Gada, and Chakra in the left.

Navratri Day 4 Color:

The color for Navratri's fourth day is Orange and the color represents brightness, knowledge, and tranquillity.

Puja Vidhi:

Offer red colored flowers, kumkum, and ghee aarti to MAA Kushmanda. 

Naivedhyam:

Offer fresh fruits like bananas, apples, and papaya. Some devotees also offer Malpua to Maa Kushmanda.
