Private Bus Catches Fire In Prakasam, Passengers Escape Unhurt

Passengers of a private bus had a lucky escape after it caught fire near the Thimmarajupalli area of Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district early on Thursday morning. The Hyderabad - Chirala bus was carrying 30 passengers. The driver noticed flames coming out from the engine, so he stopped the bus and immediately alerted the passengers. The fire spread inside and the bus got completely burnt.

As the fire spread, 8 passengers jumped out of the bus. Authorities, who have received the information reached the spot and helped the passengers. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
