Pulivendula:  Pawan Kalyan's derogatory comments against Pulivendula have landed him in trouble after a police complaint was filed against him on Sunday.

Pulivendula Municipal Chairman Varaprasad, councilors, and local YSRCP leaders lodged a complaint with SI Gopinath at the Pulivendula Urban Police Station in YSR Kadapa district against Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan for making disrespectful remarks which hurt the sentiments of the people of Pulivendula.

Speaking to reporters after filing the complaint, Varaprasad said that the Pulivendula region is known as the birthplace of love, affection, and bravery. He also said that two good chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh hail from this place.

Pawan Kalyan, who survives on the packages given by TDP and BJP, has no moral right to talk about the people of Pulivendula, he asserted. Varaprasad demanded that Pawan Kalyan tender an apology to the people of Pulivendula.

Pawan Kalyan made unsavoury comments about Pulivendula while campaigning for BJP candidate K Ratna Prabha for the upcoming Tirupati by-election in Andhra Pradesh.
