1. AP Top Cop RP Thakur Shunted Out, Goutam Sawang Takes Charge

On his first day in office as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Thursday night shunted out state Director General of Police R P Thakur, very much on expected lines. Damodar Goutam Sawang, Thakur's 1986 batch mate, has been given full additional charge as the new DGP (Head of Police Force) and is eventually expected to take regular charge as the state police chief.

A man jumped off a building after learning of his girlfriend's death in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The incident took place at Fatehnagar under Sanathnagar police station limits. The deceased, identified as Ramesh, resided at Jagaddhgirigutta and was in a relationship with a woman named Harshita for a long time.

6. Hit-And-Run Accident Leaves Two Dead In Nalgonda

In a hit-and-run accident, two people lost their lives after a DCM van ran over a two-wheeler in the district on Friday morning. The victims were identified as Chintha Narasimha(45) and Devarakonda Srinivas Rao(44), who resided in Cherlapally village. The duo was employed at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS).

7. Sangareddy: Man Hacked To Death In Broad Daylight On Patancheru National Highway

A man was brutally murdered in broad daylight on Patencheru National Highway in Sangareddy district on Friday. The man was hacked to death on the National Highway in Rudraram village amidst the heavy traffic on the road. The entire sequence of events was captured on camera.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy biopic is on cards. The news was officially confirmed by none other than the director himself.
