YS Jagan Mourns DA Somayajulu’s Death

YSR Congress Party President and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy mourned the death of YSRCP political affairs committee member DA  Somayajulu. The YSRCP senior leader breathed his last around 3.14 am on Sunday. He was 64. He had been suffering from prolonged illness. As soon as the party Chief learnt about the news, he immediately called off today's padayatra and reached Somayajulu's house at Mehdipatnam in Hyderabad. YS Jagan is on Praja Sankalpa Yatra in West Godavari district.

YS Jagan paid homage to the party advisor and consoled his family members. Along with the party chief, YSRCP Honorary President YS Vijayamma also reached Somayajulu's house and expressed her condolences to the bereaved family members.

YSRCP leaders Vijaysai Reddy, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana were among many who paid their respects to the party senior leader.

DA Somayajulu was a former advisor of to Andhra Pradesh government in Economic Affairs and Policy Implementation during former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy's regime. He also served as a Deputy Chairman for Agriculture Technology Mission.
