Review: Keerthy Suresh, who plays Savitri on screen has nailed it! From being a bubbly girl to taking success and failures in her stride and moving on. when she enacts scenes from south Indian classics which featured Savitri, it feels as if you are watching the real savitri. Keerthy gets into the skin of the character to bring to some golden moments from Savitri's life. While all the other actors have paid justice to their chatacters, Samantha and Devarakonda have excelled in their respective roles as journalist and photographer. This is Samantha's best performance till date.
It won't be wrong to call Nadigaiyar Thilagam a masterpiece. The pain taken by the filmmaker and the efforts put in his research team is there for all to see on the screen. Every minute detail is taken care of. This film will remain as one of the well made biopics in Indian cinema. Director Nag Ashwin deserves a thunderous round of applause for choosing to work on the biopic of a legendary actress and come out with flying colors. The camera work is excellent and every frame is breathtaking. The BGM is top notch and so is the editing. Nowhere in the film do you get bored as the writer has thrown in enough interesting elements to keep the audience engaged in every scene.
