Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) chief Raghuveera Reddy called upon the people in the state to participate and make the party’s bandh call a huge success. . The Special Category Status (SCS) Committee had called for total state bandh on April 16. The Congress party had expressed its full support to the bandh call since it was being organised to protest against the central government's attitude in the Parliament, APCC chief said.
Raghuveera Reddy said that their party would intensify its stir demanding SCS to the state. He criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fast and said it was mockery of democracy. He called upon the Telugu people and Congress cadre in the state to make the bandh a success.
