Chennai Super Kings has made a perfect comeback with the season 11 of IPL 2018 after its two-year ban. After making record runs at the opening match in Wankhede stadium, the CSK team pulled off another victory by beating Kolkata Knight Riders at Chepauk stadium in Chennai.
The team chased down a stiff target of 203 by hitting 14 sixes, which is fewer than the sixes hit by the Kolkata team. The team KKR has set a record with 17 sixes. The credit is given to Andre Russell, who scored 88 runs in 36 balls including 11 sixes. Dhoni, who served as CSK's wicket-keeper while KKR was batting, has seen every shot played by Russell.
During the presentation after the match, Dhoni referred to the high number of sixes in the match. "It would be great if we get eight runs instead of six for every ball, which was hit out of the stadium," he joked.
