Hyderabad: A 15-year-old Class X student was reported missing by her parents at the Hayathnagar police station. The girl, identified as Jamshettywar Sangeetha, daughter of Jamshettywar Baswanth, is a Class X student of Navya Jyothi Model School.
“On Monday morning, she went to school as usual but did not return home in the evening. We enquired at her school and came to know that she had attended the classes,” her father said.
Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of IPC and has started an investigation.
This is the third such incident in the city in the past six months. It may be recalled that Poornima Sai, a Class X girl from Nizampet, who ran away from home was finally traced to Mumbai after a month-long search by the police. She even refused to meet her parents after the police brought her back to city. Finally she was reunited with her parents and a younger sister. She disclosed that she wanted to become an actor in Bollywood or TV serials.
Unable bear the pressure by teachers at Narayana college, a 17-year-old intermediate student from Medipally has gone missing on October 11.
